Our three months in San Antonio has seen many cloudy days, but not a drop of rain. It has been getting hot (like 95 degrees in April!) and everything getting dry. But today the Lord sent us a thunderstorm. We had hours of downpour and loved every minute of it.
We sang rain songs – I had no idea I could come up with so many.
And we went out into the rain.
Kaela just stuck her hands and feel into the drips, but Eliora couldn’t contain the wonder and go soaked through.
When she started shivering from the cold wet, I decided it was time to come inside
But Eliora did not like that.
Until she got wrapped in a warm towel.
Lee tells me that I am going to get my girls sick, getting them all cold and wet and then not even thinking to put them in a warm bath. We had so much fun enjoying the weather today!
from what i remember the rain in San Antonio is warmer than any rain i can think of. like running through a warm flowing sprinkler (or shower lol) tell lee its fine! build's up their immune system! lol
