Halloween

 

For Halloween we had a grand time dressing up.  This year, Kaela got to be Little Red Riding Hood, and Eliora was the Big Bad Wolf!  We gave her a ribbon in hair and tail to let you know she was a girl.

Events of Halloween included a ward trunk or treat where we all dressed up and decorated our trunks.  Kaela was Little Red, Eliora the Wolf, Lee was the Woodsman and I was Grandma.  Our trunk was decorated with the wolf’s den and grandma’s house surrounded by trees to look like it was in the forest.

The next day, Kaela and Mom went trick-or-treating to a couple houses near our apartment with our neighbor Colby and his parents.  Colby was a dinosaur.  Eliora missed out because she was sleeping.

     

Kaela and I carved our pumpkins.  Meaning, she watched while I did it.  I really tried to have her help, but she would not get new the gooey inside. I eventually took the seeds in my spoon, and put them in her spoon so she could put them in the garbage.  She was so excited, she talked about it for days.
