We have a family of 4 boys in our ward that told usthat they have regular FFF: Forced Family Fun. You will all sit down and we will play a game, and it will be fun whether you like it or not. Well, today Lee’s work had some FFF. From 11:00 to 4:30 the entire hospital and surrounding clinics were put on minimal staff and everyone else went out to Holbrook Pond Recreation area. It was funny how many times they stressed, “No, you may not go home before hours. Your place of duty is HERE until 1630.” But, families were invited, so we brought our lunch and actually did have a lot of fun.
They had cotton candy, ice cream, sno cones, bouncy houses, face painting and playgrounds. The kids had a blast and it was fun to see some people from Lee’s work. By the end we were all tired and grateful to go home.
You can definitely hear Kaela's little laugh. Cute.
ReplyDeleteYour girls look like they were having so much fun crashing into each other. I miss them. I do not miss mandatory fun with the army. Those never work out well.
