Don’t Mess with Texas

As I was living in TX, it is hard to miss the Texas pride.  I started taking picture of some of the things that I felt you would only find in TX and no other state in the Union.

Everyone had huge cars.  Majority were trucks and full size SUVS, but lots of wide ones like Cadillac and Buick.

There were definitely a lot of trucks, but what surprised me was the hubcaps.  There was a definite culture around who could have the shiniest hubcap.  It was quite funny to see a broken down old car with huge shiny rims and speed tires.  Why do you need speed tires on a truck?

 

In the rest of the country we proudly display that it was made in the USA.  Not so in TX.

 

And many ways to eat Texas.

This sandwich cutter I believe would cut off much more than just crust, but all for a good cause.
