Lee has reached many achievements in the past month, and we are so proud of him.
The greatest news is that he has graduated the New England College of Optometry and is officially an Optometry Doctor (OD) and can claim his new title of Dr. Johnson.
We have reported for Active Duty in the US ARMY, so Lee has been sworn in as Captain Johnson. We will be doing a one year residency program, then we will have a five year active duty service obligation after that. So, a total of six years doing optometry in the military, unless we like it and decide to stay.
We add that to his MS degree last year and he can now be known as Captain Doctor Johnson, Master (who knows what order those should go in). Mostly, he just goes by Lee.
Congratulations!
Very cool! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! Looks like all of that hard work will start paying off (though I'm sure it already has).
