40 Weeks and Thanksgiving

I've been looking through pictures that were never posted and realize that I had some fun ones from Thanksgiving. I know it was forever ago, but some of them are really cute still the same.

For Thanksgiving we went over to a couple in the ward's home. He goes to school with Lee and they had invited some others from school and the ward. I was in charge of dessert and stuffing.

Thanksgiving

This is part of us enjoying a game and the Onken’s hospitality after dinner. We had a lot of fun!

Here is Kaela helping me in the kitchen with the stuffing. This meant eating as much bread as she could.

And then her helping with rolling out the pies...

She claimed the bucket of flour as her own.

And it was everywhere

It ended, as you can imagine, with a thorough washing of everything.

Here is Kaela at the Onken’s house in the Thanksgiving Dress I made her:

But, I’m sure that most of you are looking for newer, more current news than that. I am still pregnant, my due date was yesterday and the baby isn’t showing many signs of coming. Which in part is good because right now I know that she is happy, warm, well-fed and in complete comfort. It means that I am going to the bathroom 12x’s a day, feeling large, and bending over only with difficulty. But Lee says that I could do very well in the Pregnant Ladies Olympics. :) We are hoping that she comes soon, but we know that it is all in the Lord’s hands.

  1. Oh Kristin! I'm so excited for hearing the news when the new little Johnson baby is out! You must be SO ready! Or... atleast I was at 40 weeks pregnant. I'm glad you guys are having fun in Boston, we keep missing you every time you make it out this way. Good luck on labor, I bet it'll be in the middle of the night! Oh dear.
