Lee and I notice that mostly what we put up and record are the things Kaela is doing. I decided that at least one page should be dedicated to the most wonderful man in my life.
To go in order, Lee's computer crashed a week before midterms. It was making weird creaking noises and then it just stopped turning on. So we shipped it back to HP, very grateful it is still under warantee. As of today they have had it over three weeks and poor Lee is going crazy. They just called him to say it would be another two weeks before he gets it back. Augh!
So he went through midterms with no computer, at least he had backed up most of his data onto my computer. Midterms got over (whew!) two weeks ago and we went on a road trip to Rochester, NY. Lee was presenting a poster at a conference there and learning new stuff for his research. Kaela and I snuck in during lunch the last day to get a picture.
Typical day for Lee: Wake up at some time that I don't consider morning (like 4:45 or 5:15 am), go running, get ready for school, leave for school 6:30 am. Travel by subway to school, get there just in time for 8:00am classes. Class till 12:00, labs in the afternoon. Arrive back home between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. Play with baby and listen to me tell about the day. Put baby to sleep and then set to the books.
In short....this semester is pretty rough, Lee is gone most of the time. At least I have him Saturdays and Sundays, but really that is not enough.
He is such a wonderful Daddy. Even though he has so much work to do, he still has lots of time to play with Kaela.
So, even though this post wasn't about Kaela, she is still mentioned a bunch and is in every picture. She is the center of our lives.
