Little Pink Sock

My parents can attest that every day of middle school and high school I was the first to get the newspaper. I skipped all the boring stuff and went straigh for the comics. The Deseret News had two full pages! And imagine the glory of Sundays when there was a whole section. This is probably why I thought the movie "Over the Hedge" was so good - I already knew the characters. Now, a favorite was the comic "Mutts", and though I hate to compare my daughter to a cat, compare the following.



Little Pink Sock




Did you notice the other sock she pulled off her foot was next to her on the bed? In the video she doesn't do that much, but you should see her going after the socks, it is so funny. She will hold it in one hand and bat it with the other, put it in her mouth and pull on it from there, stretch between both hands....There are endless possibilities of fun with just one little pink sock. Maybe I should get one of my own....

    Your little girl seems enchanted with her Little Pink Sock! So cute!

    We used to have a cat, Puck, who would - maybe once or twice a month, dig into our athletic sock drawer and pull out one pair of socks. I put them together with one inside the other so that the tops wouldn't stretch out. This made it easier for him to carry 1 pair around.

    He'd walk from 1 room to the next and the next, meowing around that pair of socks in his mouth.

    I dunno why. One day when I find a cat psychologist, maybe I can find out.
